ACTA, French anti-graft organisation sign MoU

Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the French anti-corruption agency (AFA) to enhance co-operation between them in the areas of acquiring various practical experiences and skills, and addressing all forms of corruption.
The MoU was signed by HE President of the ACTA Hamad bin Nasser al-Misnad and Director of the AFA Charles Duchaine, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
The MoU aims to exchange experiences by arranging mutual working visits with the aim of reviewing the performance level of the national authorities concerned with the prevention of corruption, and acquiring various practical experiences and skills, because of its importance in discovering obstacles, monitor problems and cooperate to solve and prevent it. In this context, HE the president of ACTA said that the authority welcomes all forms of co-operation with relevant bodies and organisations to introduce the successful Qatari experience in preventing and combating corruption, and interaction with various international experiences, including the French experience.
