Shanghai Me Doha is now open. Located within the heart of Doha’s North Beach Corniche, Shanghai Me is the epitome of art-deco elegance and beautifully exudes the atmosphere of the Orient. Transporting guests to the 1930’s, the city’s golden era, a prosperous and indulgent place, filled with glamour, personality, and culture.

Open daily from 12pm, guests are invited to indulge in a menu inspired by the culinary traditions of East Asia, including fresh seafood for an increase in prosperity, dim sum for wealth, as well as noodles for happiness and longevity. Shanghai Me’s Sushi Bar offers guests a truly interactive experience. Taking a seat at the counter, diners can observe the precision and passion of the sushi chefs at work, fuelling an intimate and fascinating journey of flavours as the chef’s curate Japanese specialties and bespoke adventurous dishes.

At the helm of Shanghai Me’s culinary operations, Chef Izu Ani perfects the balance between innovation and authenticity with his dishes. His philosophical ethos and approach is coupled with the skill and passion of Executive Chef Yukitaka Kitade from Japan and Head Chef Xiong Wang from China. The inimitable culinary team push their creative boundaries in every dish whilst respecting and honouring the traditions of Chinese and Japanese cuisine.
Hidden on the ground floor is Shanghai Me’s Bund Lounge. Illuminated in rich hues of purple textures, the exclusive lounge boasts a sleek bar, soulful tunes, and an enticing cocktail list, creating a luxurious and private experience for guests to indulge.

Shanghai Me maintains a conscious approach to nutrition, using cleaner cooking methods, with slower processes to develop intense, enjoyable flavours. The culinary team aim to create a balance of energy, leading to harmony between body, mind, and soul.
